Selective Hearing was founded by Eddie Hennessy, frontman, and Andrew Walker, manager, of the Chicago band The Dead Bolts. We are the team behind that band, with more than eight years of experience booking, promoting, and marketing shows, tours, and festivals.
We have grown The Dead Bolts through multi-channel media, a mix of organic and paid promotion, and a steadily expanding network, filling rooms that range from 100 to 1,000 people.
The Dead Bolts can only play so many shows a year, and there are far more artists and rooms we want to work with. Selective Hearing is our outlet. The years of experience as self-starters in this industry, coupled with the resources and network we've built, are now all directed to setting other artists, venues, and creatives up for success.
